beef and lamb excellence awards

Between September and November last year, each one of the establishments in this directory was anonymously assessed on its beef and lamb main course dishes. Only those that reached a sufficiently high standard have received the 2010 Beef and Lamb Excellence Awards.

In addition, six chefs have been chosen as 2010 Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ambassadors because of the exceptional skills they displayed. You can read about this year's Ambassadors on our Ambassador Chefs page.

The Award is designed to acknowledge a consistently high standard of beef and lamb cuisine. These restaurants have not been compared with each other in the assessment process. Rather, they have been judged on their individual merits.

Whenever you see the Beef and Lamb Excellence Award, you can expect tasty, skilfully composed and superbly presented beef and lamb dishes.
