Ambassador Chef Reveal
Each year Beef + Lamb New Zealand select four chefs from across the nation to represent them throughout the year as Beef and Lamb Ambassador Chefs. These top chefs are chosen from over 200 restaurants who enter the annual Beef and Lamb Excellence Awards.
The announcement of the 2017 Beef and Lamb Ambassador Chefs was held at an event on December 6th 2016. The chefs presented their skills during the evening at the reveal event, where they served food writers, media and industry heavyweights a signature beef and lamb canape dish. Guests got to mix and mingle with each chef and watch them prepare their canapes.
The 2017 Beef and Lamb Ambassador Chefs are:
- Steve Beere, Mint Restaurant, Napier
- Shaun Clouston, Logan Brown, Wellington
- Scott Kennedy, Nero Restaurant, Palmerston North
- Alistair Forster, Mahana Estates, Nelson
