About
Beef + Lamb New Zealand

We're Beef + Lamb New Zealand Inc, the consumer marketing body for the red meat sector. New Zealand farmers, processors and retailers fund us together, and we work on behalf of the whole industry to keep New Zealand beef and lamb on Kiwi plates.

New Zealand beef and lamb is at the heart of so many good things for Kiwi families: shared meals, special occasions, delicious food and good nutrition. We focus on the everyday: helping busy families find tasty, versatile meals, and making trusted, evidence-based nutrition information easy to find.

What we do

We inspire great cooking with New Zealand beef and lamb

Through recipes.co.nz, our social channels and email newsletters, we share practical, delicious ideas for cooking with beef and lamb.

From easy midweek meals to weekend roasts, we help make cooking with beef and lamb simple and enjoyable. Our Ambassador Chefs, Stacey Waaka and campaigns bring these ideas to life and inspire Kiwis to enjoy beef and lamb more often.

We provide trusted nutrition information

Our Nutrition Team translates the latest nutrition science into clear, evidence-based information about beef, lamb and red meat nutrition.

We work with health professionals, researchers, educators, industry and the media to build understanding of the role beef and lamb can play in healthy diets, and lead initiatives such as World Iron Awareness Week.

We speak up for the beef and lamb sector

We're an accessible voice for New Zealand beef and lamb in the media and in conversations about food, health and nutrition. We work alongside Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ltd and the Meat Industry Association to support a consistent voice for the sector.
