Privacy and transparency statement

This statement explains how Beef + Lamb New Zealand collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

Using our website

You can browse most of this website without giving us any personal information. Where you choose to share personal information with us, for example by submitting a form, subscribing to a newsletter, requesting a resource, or emailing us, we will only use it for the purpose you gave it to us for.

  • In some cases, we may receive personal information about you from someone other than you, for example from a retailer, industry partner, or event organiser. Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to make sure you know that we hold your information, what we use it for, and how to contact us about it.

  • We keep personal information secure and do not disclose it to third parties, except where needed to provide a service you have requested, where you have agreed to it, or where the law requires it.

    Targeting/advertising cookies: Used by us and our advertising partners (including Google, Meta and TikTok) to show you more relevant ads on this and other websites, and to measure how our advertising is performing.
