Beef + Lamb New Zealand Foodservice Manager, Lisa Moloney, said the standard of applications was exceptionally high, with chefs across the country showcasing creativity with New Zealand beef and lamb.
“It’s fantastic to see Kiwi chefs championing the paddock-to-plate story by celebrating beef and lamb on their menus. We’re excited to welcome a new cohort of chefs who will share their knowledge, inspiration and practical tips for cooking with grass-fed beef and lamb.”
Over the coming weeks, the finalists’ beef and lamb dishes will be anonymously assessed before the final Ambassador Chefs are selected.
The Ambassador Chef programme offers chefs the opportunity to elevate their careers, deepen their understanding of the red meat sector, and share chef-inspired tips that help home cooks feel more confident cooking with New Zealand beef and lamb.
